A Scrap Yard Turned Away Scrap

Last year a scrap yard in the Seattle-Tacoma, Washington area did something I never saw in my near 25 years in the scrap metal industry: they refused to buy (or even accept) my low-grade copper wire and copper breakage scrap. They no longer had a market so I don't totally blame them. But they didn't let my company know. Now much of this low-grade scrap ends up Malaysia for processing.
